Hi All,

As some of you have no doubt noticed, I,ve been rather quiet on the forum for a few weeks now, so I thought I,d explain as I,ve had so many "good luck" messages & posts for my impending IVA that I,ve felt a little guilty for not responding to the forum.

Thanks to all for the messages of good luck , they really are appreciated

Anyways, as some of you may know, I look after my elderly disabled mother, who it must be said has not had a good last 12 months or so,
my IVA was booked for the 18th May, but I had to make a very tough( at the time anyhow ) decision & postpone it as my mother was taken seriously ill about a week before my test,
So, as is the facility of postponing the test with at least 3 days before the test date without suffering a financial penalty I postponed it,
I,m now awaiting a new test date so as soon as I know I will let you all know & not keep it secret as I previously did .

Ho Hum as they say, after a 3 yr build I suppose a few extra weeks won,t hurt, afterall, with the current weather situation maybe it was a wise move as I,m not sure which would be worse......not taking the test or having a test pass(hopefully) & registered but unable to drive it due to the weather

cheers
andy

Hi Andy,
Sorry to hear about your personal problems.
No need to feel guilty at all. I'm sure all know a bit about each others circumstances and if members don't reply to posts there's a reason behind it.

Only hope things get better for your mother and yourself.

Johno

TT, cheers for that , I don,t mind riding a bike in the wet, tho when racing bikes in the wet I don,t think I took a breath of air from the green light to the chequered flag .....lots of butt clenching moments indeed

We had a lecturer at uni "Dave Lee" (staggeringly we also had another lecturer called Lee Travis!) He had an old Morgan with nothing but a tonau cover on the passenger side. He drove to work everyday rain, snow, sun, hail, etc just in his Biggles hat to keep his head warm.
