![]() Hi Constantin, concerning the bodywork. I suggest to look for a local car tuning specialist who make GRP body-kits for production cars, as transport to Romania may become very pricey.
Actually it's quite easy, as seen from a build log of a member of this forum alga. Here's the link http://locost.lt/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14&start=170. Another big advantage of this route is that you can add some little unique finishing touches to your bodywork. At least for my own build I'm going for a custom bodywork route from a local GRP specialist. |

![]() He he, I didn't finish my GRP parts, in the end I pooled up on shipping with someone else and got a Saturn/NTS set (well, almost, more on that later).
You're looking at ~£230 shipping cost for the bodywork if it's shipped as freight on a pallet. The shocks are a lot easier, you should be able to order from Dampertech or any other company that makes or sells shocks. I bought mine from a forum group buy organized by 3GE Components, the shipping was £32 if I recall correctly. It's a compact box weighing exactly 10 kg. Note that the first printing of the book has the wrong damper size (9"-13"), it's corrected in the ammendments (9"-13" +1" extension), but forum lore claims that it's cheaper to get a standard size, 9.5"-14". P.S. And, oh, welcome to the forum, let me put you on the map of Haynes builders, the link is in my sig ↓↓↓, add your approximate coords or approximate address to that thread.

![]() Madis, at what ballpark cost are you looking with custom GRP panels?
