I think the pressed steel bearing looks a bit less agricultural than the cast one Either way its better than the poxy sierra one.

Is the sierra rubber one good enough for the job, I bought a new rubber and bush that goes with it thinking it was the norm now having seen this post wondering if it will be any good?

I've used the pressed steel bearing as shown above and it works a treat, way more stable than the stock plastic bush

For about a fiver it's well worth it IMO

I didn't get round to taking a pic as I didn't get home from work untill 8.30 last night.

Thanks for the help with regard to the steering column bush I will definitely be purchasing one based on what snapper said happens at iva sure the rubber one wil not be adequate.
