Windscreens mirrors mounts?

There are two schools of thought here about windscreens,rollbars,roll cages etc. One is if it is not fitted it can't be tested and therefore should be an easier process to gain a pass, the other is spend the time building the car pre IVA as you want it and if it's correct from the start it should go through hence why the screens will be kite marked as standard.
If you buy a plain scuttle to pass the IVA then decide you want to fit a screen then you would have to buy the other scuttle and the screen kit so in the long run it will cost you more in parts. The screen mounts will be separate to the screen but it's the sub frame that will be bonded in place that will be the difference between the two, due to the demister vents and the direct bolt on wiper mech. that I have in mind I would prefer to supply a product that is pre jigged to fit rather have people struggle to make it work and disappointed with it.
