I love Ozzy for the person he is and his music but that is a classic quote - only Martin could come up with that on the spot

I can't watch F1 any more I just find it all too boring, even a 20-30 stock car race is about my limit. I had 4 years of racing NASA Autograss/grasstrack 1600 stockhatch in an xr2 6 quick laps on 1/4 mile oval. In the summer the track would be as hard as tarmac and very dusty, if it rained it would be very slippery or even turn in to an inch of slop in same meeting. Winter races where alot of fun no need for left foot braking just turn in hard and get 90' of lift off over steer at 30-40mph.
£300-500 to build a car for a complete season of 14 meetings and maybe a new set of front rubber mid season. My first season cost me £2200 and that included the car, trailer, entry fees, fuel, lunch and a licence.

I've driven a single seater at PalmerSport, it was a 3ltr V6 Formula Jaguar and the force you have to apply to the pedal to brake is phenomenal.

It had a little light on the dash that came on when you applied enough pressure and believe me, it's a lot.

Even so, it'll be nothing to what they have to apply in an F1 car.
