Anyways... here you have your answer: 8.2° instead of 10° from the vertical axis. RollbarDaveyB.jpg Black lines on the drawings are the middle axis of the main hoop. Hope this will help ![]()

![]() Thanks, and sorry if you have had to post this before but it's very useful, and thank you, talonmotorsport when I work out what I need in terms of extra height I will PM you about possibly making a roll bar up.
Sorry to keep going on about it, is there a minimum distance your head should be from the top of the roll bar. Daveyb. |

![]() Not you fault Davey, no problem, I just posted it a first time yesterday, and checked one or two hours later, and the post was not there any more.

![]() Does anyone know if there is a reason for using 3 different tube sizes for the roll bar?
Couldn't it all be done in one size? |

![]() I've only got two, roll bar in around 51mm and cross bar and stays about 40mm.
I think one size would look to chunky on the supports. But it s up to you as it's your build |

![]() I've done the same as Landy and used two sizes of tubes.
I suspect three sizes were used originally because that's what Chris happened to have lying around! It was built on a budget afterall ![]() |

![]() How about the whole thing in 42mm?
I was thinking it would be more equal. I can't find any pictures of anyone doing this but may give it a try |
