Ahh great thanks for all the replies!

I did some testing today and the olives work very well. I have also made sure all the ends are clamped down within 1 inch of where the clips will be so will be very little movement.

I'm using a MX5 fuel sender that has a small filter attached to the pump further down the fuel line is the main filter.
