![]() Sound like an easy fix though ![]() Just clear up the VIN thing. I thought the number can be welded to the chassis but the manufacturer needs to be stamped on the ally plate on the bulkhead? Do we need to stamp the number on the chassis as well as the welded plate? |

![]() According to the examiner i had, stamping a plate and welding it on was not good enough as it could be ground off. Therefore he wants to see it stamped directly to a chassis rail. Just his interpretation of the rules i guess. The vin plate has to have the vin number and the manufacturers name indelibly marked.
