Well done Dave ! It's a great feeling, for ages you doubt yourself, then one day, it all comes together. If your chassis is getting rusty, I would recommend that you get it finished ASAP, then book it in for soda blasting. Soda blasting is extremely effective, and doesn't generate as much heat as sand blasting. I live in Gloucester, and I have booked my chassis in for a soda blast & zinc phosphate anti rust protection, all for £180 ! If you live by me, I will give you their number. I have done a few car restorations, & I can't recommend this process strongly enough. Just make sure that all your weld are fully finished first. I am putting my wishbones in as well.
