I don't wish to really put the members into position of voting or not and perhaps in hindsight I probably shouldn't have asked, because deep down I have mixed feelings my self.
The car clearly started out as a Haynes build in overall dimensions and still is.
Your body panels will fit my car.
My nosecone is a Haynes nosecone.
My lower A arms are made from the same jig as as in the Haynes book size wise, design wise I have changed them to suit what I had to work with.
Scuttle dimensionally is correct, windshield is correct.
But from that point on I deviated because to be honest there are no donor cars anywhere in my area and also the Mercur XR4Ti is so rare here it has become its own collector car, aka not cheap.
So in someways I feel somewhat attached to Haynes, but let's face it, can we say black sheep of the Haynes family.
So as I am more than happy to just be part of the forum group, I don't always post often, but I do visit and read what others are doing.

So if it is ok with you all, we can just forget my original comments they are not really relevant to the original Haynes concept.
In the end it is being part of this group that really counts.
