I assume you mean you have a Type E, four speed gear box? A type 9 gearbox (5 speed) has a different mount position. the type 9 is slightly wider, but I believe the overall length is similar enough that you can use the same prop shaft.

Some people have an small adapter to reach the old gearbox mounts, others remade the mount to suit.
