Default web site builders/users?

I've had my website/E shop for a while and although it only costs me £6.99 a month I've never sold any thing through it and it's far too big for my needs. Is there any recommendations out there for hosts from people who have/run their own sites that are very simple to use and set up?

Phil,

Try Create.net.

very simple and you can do very cheaply. 6.99 seems quite cheap though for the abaility for a payment gateway etc.

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

never used it but this looks ok.

http://www.ipage.com/hosting-features

My stuff is all hosted on my own servers ( although I need to move the server as it's sitting in an office complex that I no longer have any personal links with ).

For the amount of bandwidth my sites need I am just going to build up a server at home to run them.

TT

Hey Phil,

I know there is some weird stuff in the UK about hosting business sites outside of the EU, but since your helping me out parts stuff. Id be happy to hook you up with some hosting.

Other than that i would recommend using Wordpress, its pretty simple to use and is very flexible when it comes to adding a cart if necessary down the road.

I can second Wordpress, not used any store plugins as I'm going to be using nopCommerce for mine, but Wordpress is fairly simple to set up and use for the uninitiated.

You can create very professional looking sites really simply and as it has all the Search Engine Optimisation stuff built in under the hood, you don't need to be a genius to rank well on google.

Also, perhaps most importantly, it is updated fairly regularly to make sure your site stays secure.

and it's free!
