They are going back on Monday mate, think I will order the ones from Robin Hood with the piping (red)

Dont blame you mate, sounds like they could be cheap for a reason......and they aren't even cheap enough to put up with that!

They actually asked if I would like to keep them if they refunded part of the cost, told them No I wouldn't use them for a sit on lawnmower never mind my car.
