If you have a look at this website:
http://www.burtonpower.com/technical...ate_chart.aspx It gives you the date of manufacture for the engine from engine number and VIN number. Hopefully that and the V5 should be acceptable, mine is NB which is January 1992. I've sent a letter of to Ford asking them to confirm engine age but i don't have much faith in getting a response.
