Z20LET into a Haynes Roadster

If cooling becomes an issue, would there be space to lye the inter cooler flat across the top of the engine bay somewhere, & put a kia sedona style scoop & use their inter cooler set up, this freeing up the rad to get some fresh air. Just an idea, as this is the set up in my kia sedona 2.9 crdi. Might be an option ? If there is space of course.
