Early Robin Hood Monocoque cars had Richard Stuart specials, motorbike shocks bought on bulk modified with a spring platform and collar then renamed Zimmeride.
They didn't last long and damping was horrible
You can pickup Gaz shocks at a very reasonable price which improve ride very well
