Not sure about an afternoon though, we both agreed that a day (8 hours) should be enough, and he's going to suggest they pay me £20 per hour.
A lot less than a garage would charge, but I'm happy to be paid £20 an hour to d!ck about on my car

Spoke to the insurers today. They said they're going to send me a settlement cheque next week

Not sure about no time, spoke to Dan at Gillham the other day and he's a bit snowed under with body work orders at the moment, so might have a bit of a wait
I will be getting a nice shiny new bonnet though
