Where to buy Brass Channel?
I need around 1 metre of 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/6" brass channel but can't find anyone willing to supply a short length at anything like a sensible price. (So far the best price is £50 + VAT + Carriage).
Unfortunately most of the on-line suppliers don't seem to do brass channel. Smiths were the ones who quoted the above price and although it's on the Rightons website they don't seem to want to quote. We used to buy a lot of brass where I worked a few years ago which is probably why it seems so expensive to me. Is this the right sort of price for a small quantity or should I be able to do better. Any suggestions would be appreciated. John. |

It's not for my kit car build but to make a folding windscreen for my Austin 7 Sports which really needs to be in brass as it's silver soldered together than chrome plated.
