Congratulations for the car, it should be such a good feeling to drive it It looks very nice.
And good for you you drove it before doing the front wing stays, at least you had a moment of enjoyment before the hassle. I've been on my front wing stay for 3 days now, and still can't get them right
But hopefully, within one week, I'll have my first drive with a complete car too.

Hm, I put mine together without too much bother, 2 or 4 hours on each, done on the first attempt. Hindsight: 3 mm upper strips are too weak the but 5 mm or so should do fine. Also, place them an inch or so above the tyre. I went for ~15 mm and now I cannot mount a tyre slightly larger than the one I measured with. Update: the upper one does all the flapping, but the bottom (rear) one breaks at the weld from torsional loads.
