Sylvian - how did you end up doing this in the end? I am using the same bodywork as you I think - and was going to make up the brake lines this evening (but haven't fitted bodywork yet). I do have the 'book spec' brackets though - so could use those if it's then possible to exit the body with the flexi lines using a grommet to make it all look nice and tidy...

Hi John,
Honestly, the front flexi lines brackets being so close to the wishbone brackets, I just made the wishbone cuts in the GRP panel a bit larger. Finally, I think there is no need for a grommet here.

The hole enlargement doesn't need to be big, because the brake flexi hose movement is almost nothing that close to the bracket.

100% helpful! The pics you have just posted are, I think, very rarely seen! (There's usually a wheel right in the way) so that's really helpful. I had not thought about the closeness of the pipe bracket to the wishbone bracket - what you show makes perfect sense now.

Cheers
John

Looks like I need to sort my side panels out as I currently have grommets fitted which my brake hoses run through, this weekend ill cut the whole a bit bigger.

I think people have failed IVA Simon just for that as they were not happy with them either on the panel or going through grommets in the panel.

Using Sylvains pipes the bulkhead "fitting" was both straightforward and elegant.....see my thread link
