![]() Your Roadster looks real good ![]() Let´s hope you got the MOT real soon so you have everything ready until next spring. It´s Three years sinse I got mine at the road so today was the first time I have to go to the MOT ( kontrollbesiktning på svenska) and it was no problems, got the thumb up from from the testman ![]() Janne |

![]() Well done on the pass. It's a great feeling.
My stays are 6mm x40mm and only vibrate at 80mph and not that badly. My car was a bit fat but I did over engineer some of the added parts. With me in it (100kg) and 36L fuel it was 720kg. |

![]() Ditto all the above congrats ,I recognise those stripes
![]() Be carefull with the exhaust, you may/will find the gas will burn your arm if you have it on the side panel as I found out being a passenger in Spuds car, even when driven hard round a track it burnt the underside of my forearm. Good luck/Bon chance.

![]() Thanks for the nice words my friends
![]() I'm gonna fix this stays this winter, perhaps brace them with half round tubes. And for the weight, that is something I can work on along the way. @ Janne: perhaps next spring I can drive down to Skåne with the Roadster and we go for a drive together? Yesterday, I drove 400 km round trip to take a 10 minutes noise test... It was a pain to drive such a long way with the Roadster on the trailer, just for that, but no choice, it had to be done. I was worrying a bit about the noise with my motorbike exhaust muffler (BMW R1300K), pretty short, with an integrated catalyst converter. But I passed the test! Readings were between 77 and 81 dB, max authorized is 84 dB. So I'm happy and relieved that this inspection and noise test are behind me now ![]() Next step will be MOT, and I already know, from the inspectors, that I will have to change my seat harnesses, 4 points are not authorised on road in Sweden, and I hadn't noticed that on the manual. I might also need to weld a stainless steel elbow to the tail of the exhaust muffler to respect the exhaust gas outlet angles. I will also protect my rear wing. But after all the stress from this end of the week, the Roadster is back in the garage, garage is locked, and I'll just take this week-end to relax and think about something else ![]()
