Im assuming its smaller in diameter and thats why it fits. Ive personally never compared it to any other.
I think there is only one type for the 1.8cvh, and have been told many times by people who have done it thats what you need when using type 9 and zetec. |

The idler in my pic came off the front of the Escort silvertop.
Starter motor on mine is off a DOHC Sierra, not sure what the part number is though.... Heres how much I ground off the blacktop sump: Keep asking Steve |

was the idler put on sing a bracket?
so when i link it up to the tupe 9 i need a sierra starter? do you have any dimensions for the braket you made to take pulley/ idler? |
