Zetec question!!

I'm looking for a donor there seems to be a lot more zetecs available than pinto's (I don't like CVH) so now i'm thinking about going for a Zetec, my thoughts are: will I have a problem with the steering extension shaft, which throttle boddies to use as the injecton system is quite large, what sort of money will the new injection set up cost and can I use the original wireing? is it worth the grief or shall I stick to looking for a pinto?
I'm an old school type and like to stick to simple systems that dont go wrong like the pinto so your thoughts will be appreciated.
