Suspension Bracket jig?
Do any of the Roadster companies sell bits for the jig to tack the suspension brackets in place?

I didn’t use a jig just two lengths of m12 studding, several clamps and lots of measuring.
Bolted two suspension brackets to the M12 studding, making sure that they are exactly the right distance apart. Then using the clamps and loads of measuring off the base board you can position the suspension mounts in the correct place. Cheers Ginge

Sounds like a good idea, but would there not be to much room for error in doing it that way?
I'm presuming that the brakets have to be exactly in the right place or it could lead to big problems? |

James,
You are right (I think) the suspension brackets are one of the most critical components to get in the correct place. However I spent two days fitting them my way, I probably could have done it in a day with a jig. Lots of measuring and I am happy they are in the right place. I will find out next weekend when I fit my wish bones. Cheers Ginge

I used two pieces of MDF and a handful of nuts to hold the M12 threaded bar in place:

I did mine today, same is Ginge. Only bit I did that he didn't mention was to tack them then make sure the bones fitted exactly. I must have measured a dozen times, everything has fitted together perfectly. Be sure to pick a known datum then fit the bones temporarily, make sure everything is correct and only then apply copious quantities of weld. Simplez.....

Graeme - if you wouldn't mind me using them i would be grateful, and then pass them on to the next builder that wants them
