Default Attaching pedal box

Evening all
I'm rapidly approaching the point where I'm going to be fitting my pedal box in order to continue building the braking system, and I'd like some opinions on a thought I've had.
I was considering welding the pedal box into position - is there any reason why I can't/shouldn't do this? I can't imagine there is overly much call to remove the pedal box once put in place. Welding it in would save me drilling holes in my floor and bolt heads poking out below it

You're right, there is no point having it removable, unless you'll want to replace the pedals at some point.
