saturn Vs Vodou wishbones?

Hi Guys
I have got the stage where I have to commit to a front wishbone design. In NZ we have to get design approval before we can make our wishbones.

Both of these bones are designed for MX5 uprights but have different lengths in both bones:
Saturn is 410mm in lower and 242 + ball joint.
The Vodou is 404mm for lower and 248 + ball joint for the upper.

why the difference and what difference will these make?
