Default sump mods

hi every1

as you can tell im new to this forum, but iv nearly finishd my chassi. in now at the point of needing to mount my engine and after a lot of thinking my engine choice is a 3.5 rover v8. there are 2 resons for this, one is that the engine was free and secondly it looks and sounds good. my question is do i need to modify the sump to lower the big lump?. all help will be gratefull thank.

best way to work it out is to put the engine in and see how far the sump is out the bottom of the chassis. you want about 100-110mm ground clearance to clear speed bumps.
