![]() Feeling a little frail from a trip to the breakers yesterday & a Sunday afternoon from hell, trying to remove a FUBAR'ed security nut from one of my jeep wheels ( Got the bu**er in the end )
![]() Today I thought I would have a play with the engine wiring loom ![]() When myself & Jas removed the engine from the Escort, I butchered the loom as I was intending to use Megasquirt & throttle bodies !!?? Any how's, hade a change of tac & have now decided to get the engine running with the stock ECU. One major problem was solved when I came across an ECU harness at the breakers. So today I dropped the ECU harness in the passenger footwell, found my bag of Escort engine loom & plugged in 2 of the 3 connectors .... So far so good. Could I find the 3rd part of the loom !!?? Could I heck .... Finally discovered the missing plug, only to find that it is a mangled mess. Just a plug with a mass of long wires ![]() Now I have the problem of tracing the Lambda sensor & MAF sensor wires back to the ECU pin outs ..... Not looking forward to that task. Does anyone happen to know where I can find a decent EEC IV pin out drawing ? There is one in the Escort manual but it is difficult to follow for an old fart like me with dodgy eyesight ![]()
