Default The eagle has landed

Finally, 16 months after I first started work on my build table I finally lowered the car onto the ground on tis wheels for the first time I managed to resist the urge of doing this a lot earlier in the build and as a result I have managed to finish all the alu panels, wiring and assembly while up in the air on trestles. Should get the engine in later this week then I can start getting ready to fire her up.

Time for some celebratory beer I think

Smile Well done David

That's brilliant news Dave

Keeping the build up on the trestles certainly looks to have made life a lot easier for you.

I can see that your build is at a very well advanced stage

A huge well done on reaching such a huge milestone .... Ready in time for Stoneleigh 2011 eh !!??

Been following your progress since the start & will look forward to viewing future progress

You are at the best stage of the build now in my opinion, all the hard work and preperation has paid off and now you can bolt on all the nice clean parts that turn it into a proper car

Looks nice and neat
