Hi all, Just got a set of GSXR 600 SRAD carbs off the bay of e. I am about to make the manifold and would like to know if there is happy medium length for the tube lengths, I have been reading a lot of articles and can't seem to find out the best length. Also, on the carbs the accelerator pump( i think!!) looks like it has a seperate cable, is this cable part of the throttle linkage cable on the bike.

Try to find some pics on the forum of one's running bike carbs, for my money I would be fairly close to the head to make the shortest straightest route for the fuel, ram pipe length plays a role in power at different ranges, factor in some manifold heating for the carbs or they may ice up.

Cost : Little as possible. Thanks : To those who by their generosity my build has progressed. Its a handmade sports car not a flaming kit car !!! If at first you dont succeed, avoid skydiving... No parachute require to freefall, only if you want to do it twice. |
