![]() So I tried to open the bonnet on my daily driver this afternoon to fill it up again with fluids and the release level under the steering wheel isn't working anymore

![]() Whats the car ? i had a Laguna that used to do that all the time could open it with a couple of long screwdrivers from underneath ..

![]() Its a MK1 Renault Scenic. Because the lever to open it still travels completely I'm guessing the cable has probly snapped somewhere? I can see the screwdriver method working, just need to work out where to put em I guess...

![]() Get someone to pull the lever while you thump the bonnet at the front. When it's open put some oil on the catch.
