It runs! but im confused!

Alternator was hooked up and working and the battery light comes on dash and goes out when engine is running

I can prob figure it out when i can spend a bit of time on it with multi meter, but hopefully the people with some electrickery knowledge can give me some ideas first

I will prob just find a different + feed for the coil, edis and fuel pump where would the best place to take this from?
