The flap disc I use is a "60" grade, just take your time, don,t go mad with the removal of steel, keep checking the fit etc it will eventually get there.

In a strange way its quite satisfying when it all fits "snugly" together

YOU are " WEIRD " mate...............lol

then again i suppose playing with steel is fairly new to you wot with you being a sailor..
when you have been bashing steel and twirlin spanners for nearly "( cough ) "
years you get to the fit you Bas####d stage quite quickly.
