Ive done much the same this weekend as in actually made some progress you car is looking very nice there m8 how did you find making the side panels ? Not sure to go ally or fglass think ally will work out cheaper

If I was to do it again I would use fibreglass sides, it was a pain to bend the folds on the front, I'm glad I'm painting them so I can fill the imperfections

I was told not to use the brake line bracket on the chassis upright, but to put a bulkhead fitting in th side panel as the former is an IVA fail. Looking good though.

I would have thought that having a bulkhead fitting on the bracket would be more secure than having one on the side panel

It isn't so much a case of strength, but the brake pipe rubbing on the side panel as the suspension & steering moves.
