CBS do some silencers not badly priced;

ya i was thinking about using one of the cherry bombs from europa as they sound like just the thing for a bike carb converted engine and I'm not fussed on having stainless to begin with

Excuse my ignorance ( I have no experience of cherry bomb exhausts )

But, are they not a loud exhaust? me,s thinking IVA noise test etc being quite strict..............just a thought

Oh right I've probly mis-interpreted the description as I thought it made loud engines quite, especially performance engines?

The CBS exhausts look nice but at over £230 for the just the silencer look quite pricey. I thought there might have been a cheaper option.

Nothing wrong with cherry bombs other than the have a lousy finish. Ok under a car but if you intend using one probably best to strip the finish they come with and give them a coat of vht paint. Noise level is ok if sized properly.

I bought a Stainless steel silencer that once graced a Robin Hood off Ebay , was local to me so no postage ..... £7.50

Just hope it,ll pass the noise test, if not it may well get well n truly stuffed
