![]() Fairly sure Spud put his under the nosecone,I would place it on the nearside bulkhead,if it boils at speed you will get covered in hot water/antifreeze.

![]() Steve.......Ah, ok then I see your point
![]() In all honesty the reason I positioned mine where I did was after seeing Spud,s setup which is under the N/S of the nose & seeing how difficult it appeared to get at ( sorry Spud ![]() ![]() cheers andy |

![]() i thought about putting mine under the nose but thought against it as it would be a nightmare to fill close to exhaust etc also on mine i dont think it would be high enough i made an alloy one and got a weld on neck from car builders solutions (£10) to accept a push and twist style rad cap (like pinto powered mk 2 escorts, cortina etc have) i have a pic on my photos of the tank in position i then simply used 22mm copper pipe to bend round the engine bay to the rad i painted it black and have soldered olives on the end so the pipes would not blow off looks fairly neat if i do say so myself

![]() if you use the push and twist caps they are designed to lift under pressure coolant would escape down the tube to a place of your choosing unlike screw caps that vent to the atmosphere
