The eec 4 +5 ecu's are not of a canbus design.
The 97 on ecu's are much nicer than older ecu's due to suporting Obd2. I can connect my phone to the ecu and monitor its perimiters.

Why disable the pats ? Its very easy to use if you have the rdif chip from the key and gives your kit what was a thatcham aproved immobilizer.

Ive been doing them for years, its a much better set up than webers and bike carbs and will pass iva (with a cat) with NO messing.

Any one want to donate a jag s type as I fancy a new challange and it should also be ford bassed.
