Thats one citroen, the missus drove her saxo through a " small puddle". The small puddle was infact a lake, one that was up to my waist. Wait a mo, il upload the video......

Cant get my phone to upload it. But basically i took the air filter off, and it was full of water, so i dropped all the fluids and pulled the head off. I couldnt even turn the crank with a bar to lock the timing holes, so pulled the belt straight off and undid the head bolts. Upon lifting the head off i was greeted by every cylinder full of water to the top. I didnt want to go any further as i knew it would have bent a rod, so i tried to pop the wet liners by trying the starter motor. Nothing, propper siezed so got £180 off the scrap man today.

Car looks nice Nathan, especially engine bay. Just need to change bonnet to yellow and scuttle to black. Hint..........Hint.

I've got a slight second black scuttle here if Richard doesn't want it.

Good few years ago it rained for weeks on end, when 2.0 ltr 406 was fairly new.
Guy drove through the same deep water twice, second time it drank a few gallons of water and fooked the third piston.

Seen a Passat diesel bend a rod with water in it.

Citroen and Poorjoe inlets a really low
