![]() Hi all im in need of some cross bracing advice. This is the idea i have come up with. Originaly i was going to remove the current engine bay cross brace then install a new type that went up to the firewall brace then down to the engine mount, then back upto the top of the wishbone mount. But i might as well leave it in to add a little extra support. All this bracing will be done in 19mm box

![]() your suggested extra bracing looks good, maybe a little overkill but then again, you,ll have lots of horses in that engine bay
![]() Only other suggestion I would make is to add a corner brace on the passenger side in the engine bay...just like the one above the pedal box area...TR1 & TR2 to TR8. Have you thought about installing a propshaft safety hoop? just in case the prop "lets go" ![]() ![]() cheers andy |

![]() Yeah was thing about using some of the same tube used for the rear uprights. That + tunnel cross braces should be ok I think.
