the 1.6 will be a pinto and it's type 9 box will fit most other 4pot fords althought the 1.6 is not as strong as the 2.0 BOX.
How many miles do you expect to do a year? MPG is uualy not worth thinking about unless you plan to do a lot of touring. TT

I know this sounds a bit far off, i have not even bought the steel yet.
But I would love to drive down to the south of france on a touring holiday just before i retire. another 12 years to go so should just have enough time to build then. The london to brighton sounds great to. Cheers for your reply Happyjo
